What if I do not have an active Michigan license / registration?
An applicant for full, limited or educational licensure, registration or certification in Michigan for any of the eligible professions is also eligible for the program. These referrals will need written documentation for the Department of Community Health- Licensing Division or the written approval of the contract administrator.
Students who are applying for a limited or education license or who are applying for a license/registration/certification are eligible for the HPRP. These referrals will need written documentation for the Department of Community Health- Licensing Division or the written approval of the contract administrator.
Health care professionals who have had their license suspended as a result of regulatory action may apply for the HPRP on an individual basis as a precursor to seeking reinstatement before their licensing board. Such requests shall have the written approval of the contract administrator. The health care professional will be considered a regulatory participant under the regulatory provisions of the contract.
