What occurs during “monitoring”?

During the monitoring period, HPRP’s Monitoring Department will assure the individual is in compliance with his/her Monitoring Agreement.

Should a relapse occur, the HPRP with the support of treatment providers may require the participant to withdraw from or limit his/ her practice, undertake more treatment, or make adjustments to their monitoring plan in order to reestablish a recovery plan.

As necessary, the HPRP will provide information regarding the individual’s compliance with his/her Monitoring Agreement to any necessary persons for whom HPRP has an authorized release for (i.e. employer, business partner, administrator, probation officer, etc).

If the individual is not willing to participate in monitoring, does not comply with the requirements of the program, or is not able to establish a recovery, the HPRP is required to notify the State of the facts of the case, for future investigation and possible disciplinary action.
